Το μυθο-ποιητικό σώμα:
Εργαστήριο σωματικού θεάτρου και υποκριτικής με την Τάνια Μπατζόγλου και Βανιώ Παπαδέλλη Περιγραφή σεμιναρίου Σ’ αυτό το εργαστήρι, θα εισαχθούμε σε πολύτιμες μεθόδους που έχουν ως σκοπό τον συντονισμό του σώματος, του συναισθήματος και της φαντασίας του ηθοποιού/χορευτή/περφόρμερ. Θα συνδυάσουμε στοιχεία από σωματικό θέατρο, somatics, ποιητική βιωματική ανατομία, Contact Improvisation και την χρήση μύθων που βασίζεται στην μέθοδο δραματοθεραπείας Sesame Approach. Οι μύθοι θα μας βοηθήσουν να διερευνήσουμε την πολυπλοκότητα της ανθρώπινης ψυχής και των ανθρώπινων σχέσεων χάρη στις συμβολικές και αρχετυπικές τους διαστάσεις. Αντλώντας έμπνευση από τους μύθους, θα συνθέσουμε την κίνηση με τον λόγο πλάθοντας ποιητικούς σκηνικούς κόσμους. Η προσέγγιση που θα ακολουθήσουμε θα δώσει έμφαση στην επίγνωση, τον συντονισμό με τις αισθήσεις μας καθώς και την αυθόρμητη αντίδραση στα ερεθίσματα που προέρχονται από τον εσωτερικό και εξωτερικό κόσμο (impulses). Μέσα από την εξερεύνηση διαφορετικών τονικοτήτων και ρυθμών, θα μπορέσουμε να ταξιδέψουμε από το ανάλαφρο, λυμένο στο έντονα αφυπνισμένο, δυναμικό και «πυκνό» σώμα. Επίσης, θα εισαχθούμε σε πολλαπλές δομές αυτοσχεδιαστικής έκφρασης με αφορμή ποιητικές εικόνες, υπάρχοντες μύθους αλλά και την προσωπική μας φαντασία. Δημιουργώντας τα θεμέλια για ειλικρινή επαφή με τον εσωτερικό και σωματικό μας κόσμο και αρμονική επικοινωνία με τον παρτεναίρ, θα μπορέσουμε να διευρύνουμε το φάσμα της κινητικής και υποκριτικής μας έκφρασης, να πάρουμε ρίσκα καθώς και να βιώσουμε συναισθήματα εσωτερικής πληρότητας. Το εργαστήρι – που πραγματοποιείται για πρώτη φορά στην Αθήνα - απευθύνεται κυρίως σε επαγγελματίες με ενδιαφέρον και εμπειρία στο θέατρο, την περφόρμανς ή το χορό. Επίσης απευθύνεται σε σπουδαστές δραματικών σχολών και γενικότερα η πρόσκληση είναι ανοικτή σε όσους είναι πρόθυμοι να εξερευνήσουν λιγότερο γνώριμους “τόπους” της σωματικής και υποκριτικής έκφρασης. Η Βανιώ Παπαδέλλη εργάζεται με έδρα το Λονδίνο σαν περφόρμερ και δημιουργός στο χώρο της κίνησης και του θεάτρου. Μέσα από καλλιτεχνική και ακαδημαϊκή έρευνα, έχει αναπτύξει μια πρακτική που ονομάζει Συντονισμό (Attunement) εμπνευσμένη κυρίως από Σωματικό Θέατρο (στην παράδοση των Ανατολικής Ευρώπης) και χοροθέατρο, Contact Improvisation, release-based τεχνικές, αυτοσχεδιασμό και βιωματική ανατομία. Διδάσκει κινησιολογία, devising και μεθοδολογίες πρακτικής έρευνας (Practice-Based research) σε Πανεπιστήμια και Δραματικές Σχολές (Goldsmiths and Rose Bruford College). ‘Εχει δουλέψει με χορογράφους και θεατρικές ομάδες μεταξύ των οποίων το Theatre Lab, Angela Woodhouse, και η διεθνής βραβευμένη ομάδα Song of the Goat Theatre (The Crucible 2010; Song of Lear-An Oratorio 2011). Συνεργάστηκε για 6 χρόνια με το Theatro Technis London ερμηνεύοντας τους βασικούς γυναικείους χαρακτήρες σε παραστάσεις Αρχαίου Δράματος (Αντιγόνη, Οιδίποδας επί Κολωνό, Επτά επί Θήβα, Φοίνισσες, Πέρσες). Επίσης υποδύθηκε την Λαίδη Μακμπέθ στον Μακμπέθ του Σαίξπηρ με την ομάδα Company of Shadows αποσπώντας εξαιρετικές κριτικές.

A physical theatre and acting workshop

In this workshop, we will explore valuable methodologies that aim to support the actor/performer/dancer in achieving attunement between the body, emotions and imagination. We will combine techniques from physical theatre, somatics, poetic experiential anatomy, Contact Improvisation and the application of myths as in the dramatherapy method of the Sesame Approach. The myths will support our in-depth exploration of the human psyche and human relationships. The myths, rich with symbolic and archetypal dimensions, will inspire us to combine movement with text in creating poetic worlds for the stage.
The emphasis of the practice will be on gaining awareness, attuning and coordinating our senses alongside training a spontaneous response to inner and outer impulses. Through the exploration of different rhythms and tonalities, we will be able to move from the light and released body to a more awakened, dynamic and ‘dense’ body. Furthermore, we will be introduced to various structures for improvisation based on poetic images, existing myths and our personal imagination. We aim to create strong basis for physical and emotional awareness, honesty in expression and a harmonious communication with the partner so that we can expand our kinetic and acting range, take creative risks, and experience feelings of connectedness.

Biographies
Vanio Papadelli is a London-based performer and maker working in the fields of movement and theatre. Through artistic and academic research, she has been developing a practice called Attunement which is mainly inspired by Eastern European Laboratory theatre, dance theatre, Contact Improvisation, release-based techniques, improvisation and experiential anatomy. She teaches movement, devising and practice based research methodologies in Higher Education (Goldsmiths and Rose Bruford College). She has worked with several directors and choreographers including Theatre Lab, Angela Woodhouse, and the international award-winning group Song of the Goat Theatre (The Crucible 2010; Song of Lear-An Oratorio 2011). She is also trained and inspired by theatre laboratories such as Farm in the Cave (Prague) and Studio Matejka (Poland). In 2013, she completed her Practice-based PhD in movement training for theatre performers (Goldsmiths) supported by IKY and A.G. Leventis Foundation.
She has performed in choreographed, devised and co-devised performances in Greece, UK, Italy, Romania, Poland, Germany, Egypt and Lebanon (supported by British Council and Zoukak Theatre). In her work, she explores human relationships by fusing autobiography and fiction through intense physicality, sound, video projections and poetic texts.
She has been collaborating with Tania Batzoglou since 2012 while in 2014 they presented Candid in two platforms in London with very positive responses by the audience.

From the same university, she obtained in 2012 her practice as research PhD focusing on performance pedagogies and combining applications of the Sesame approach of drama and movement therapy and psychophysical theatre. She collaborated for 6 years with Theatro Technis London in the productions of Ancient Greek dramas acting the lead female roles (Antigone, Oedipus at Colonus, Seven against Thebes, The Phoenician Women, The Persians). She has also received excellent reviews as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth by Shakespeare with Company of Shadows.
